Original French M51 Steel Pot Helmet w/ Liner Size:One Size Fits Most one on each sideOriginal French M1951 Steel Pot Helmet w Liner and Chin Strap This French military Modle 1951 replaced various helmets such as the Adrian and US M1. It was produced between 1951 and 1976. It was officially replaced by the M1978 but remained in service into the 1980s. Note the similar characteristics that this helmet shares with the US M1 helmet but has a different shape. The M51 has a shorter visor in the front and wider slopes on the sides and back.
