50’s Black and White Striped Pleated Skirt Midi Dress by Pat Hartly dark blue dress cuff slitsStriking black and white classic 1950's silhouette dress by Pat Hartly. There are no tags beside the manufacturer, but I believe the top of the dress is a stretchy black wool jersey and the skirt is a striped taffeta acetate. The top has a boat neck and dolman short sleeves (there are no shoulder seams). The bodice has darts to shape nicely in front, but the back is the star attraction! Square and quite low, it fastens all the way to the skirt hem
