Cabochon III Product:Cabochon III "Ibis" is finished with durableThis unique kiln fired piece is nearly . 5" thick, providing it compelling visual depth. The process is complex, involving damming around the cut and smashed pieces of glass so the glass doesn't flow and spread out as it heats and fuses together. Glass powders are sifted on top of and between glass layers. After the first firing, the piece's edges are ground and sanded to a smooth finish. A second firing highlights the gold pen lines, and textured
