In silver, a round medal bearing Japanese kanji encircled by a wreath on the obverse, reverse plain, worn on a decorative suspension with clasp indicating the date of conferral, a dark blue ribbon with hook and eye on reverse, measures 30. 2 mm (d), dark patina, minor wear, in very fine condition.
