Bavaria, Kingdom. An Order Of Military Merit, Third Class, By Weiss & Cie, C.1910 Hold in stamped tombac(Bayerische Militrverdienstorden III. Klasse). Issued 1905 1918. A silver gilt Maltese cross, with blue enameled arms and flames between each arm of the cross; the obverse with a central black enameled medallion bearing a gilt crowned cipher of King Ludwig III within a white enameled ring in the form of a buckled belt with gilt letters reading MERENTI (Latin Merit); the reverse with a central black enameled medallion bearing a gilt crowned Bavarian
