They featured Pimp C and Bun B and had a specifically southern style. In 1992, UGK were signed by Jive Records. They produced six albums for the label during their time together. But in 2005, Pimp C started his own label simply named UGK Records. Sadly, though, Pimp died shortly after, in 2007, and UGK and the label ended.
