Germany, Third Reich. An Air Protection Honour Medal, Ii Class With Case Buy Now Offered here is a rare(Luftschutz Ehrenzeichen, II. Stufe mit Etui). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938 1945 issue). Constructed of aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse with a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ (FOR MERIT IN AIR DEFENCE), the reverse with a central raised date of 1938, unmarked, measuring 38.
