constructed of magnetic metal affixed to a backplate with a horizontal pinback and period original ribbon

Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Brigadeführer Rank Insignia United Republic of dated 1 February 1919(Waffen SS Brigadefhrer Rangabzeichen). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a gold bullion wire chevron, topped by two machine embroidered golden yellow oak leaves and acorns, unmarked, measuring 98 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
