The Gärtnerei Teske – for all garden lovers
If you’re a keen gardener or just looking for something off the beaten track, we’d definitely recommend paying a visit to the ‘Gärtnerei Teske’ perennial gardens in the district of Seefeld, run by the Teske family. Here, you can take a leisurely stroll and discover hidden treasures.
Heiligengrabe Abbey
This abbey, established by the Cistercians in the 13th century, is located just 15 km from Pritzwalk. It is one of the most important listed monasteries in the state of Brandenburg.
Wittstock/Dosse – a must-see for fans of Brick Gothic architecture
The town of Wittstock/Dosse, located around 30 km away, is also definitely worth a visit. We’d recommend taking a walk along the fully preserved Gothic brick town wall, which will lead you right past the town’s main sights, including the ‘Alte Bischofsburg’ museum complex, the cathedral and the market square with the town hall.
